Kelli has worked predominantly in Family and Criminal Law since 2006 and was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in June 2008. Kelli moved to Essex, England to begin working at Plexus Law in Colchester and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2010 before returning to Brisbane in 2011. In 2015 Kelli founded KLM Solicitors where she specialises in Criminal and Family Law as well as Domestic Violence matters. She also deals with a range of Legal Aid and Private matters in both Brisbane and regional courts. With a growing business, husband and 2 small children, Kelli still takes time to enjoy her home life as she juggles an obviously busy career and family.

A graduate of UQ, Shannon was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and first started working in family law 2 years prior to becoming a solicitor. Born on Brisbane’s Northside she loves cuddling with her husky-cross rescue dog, reading and occasionally treading the boards of amateur theatre stages in north Brisbane. With a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media and Communications from QUT, Jane was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017. An accredited Children’s and Adult Duty Lawyer in the Brisbane Magistrates Court, Jane is passionate about helping those that require extra assistance due to mental health, social or economic factors and volunteers tutoring refugee families with the VoRTECS program. Jane loves the beach, mountain climbing and anything outdoors.
A Family Law solicitor since 2017, Ebony is committed to supporting her clients through the challenges of family law and domestic violence matters. Sporty and a keen traveller, she always enjoys heading back to visit her family in her hometown of Stanthorpe
Rachel graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and joined the KLM family law team in January 2020. Rachel’s empathy, sensitivity and down to earth personality means she supports her clients every step of the way through one of their most challenging times. Outside of the office, Rachel loves the beach and anything outdoors and frequents dog friendly cafes with her rescue puppy.
Specialising in family law, Ellen believes one of the great advantages of working in the legal industry is the opportunity to affect societal change. She thrives on the pressure of the courtroom and the intellectual challenges it presents every day. She and her husband enjoy traveling, visiting friends and family and doing anything outdoors including camping, fishing and mountain biking.
Steph thrives off the challenge of working across family, criminal and domestic violence matters. She holds a Bachelor in Business (Public Relations) and a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and has a transparent, sensitive and understanding approach to the law. With family throughout Australia and overseas, Steph has the perfect excuse to indulge in her passion for travelling.
Sam started at KLM in 2016 working in family, criminal and domestic violence matters. Sam enjoys football, cooking and adding stamps to his passport - having toured through Southeast Asia on a motorbike. Having graduated university with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychology, Sam uses his skills and experience to help clients through times of intense emotional stress and need. Sam is passionate and motivated to achieve the best results for his clients with a strong sense of empathy and rapport.
With a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Applied Law (Family Law), Hannah was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in late 2019. Hannah has over 8 years' experience in working in Family Law prior to her admission as a lawyer. Hannah is passionate in her desire to focus primarily in Family Law and Domestic Violence. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys travelling and taking adventures outdoors and loves to spend her spare time with her family and friends.
Natashia has been with the KLM team since 2018 working in primarily on criminal and domestic violence matters. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020. Natashia enjoys the fast paced atmosphere at KLM and is focused on delivering the best possible result for her clients. In her spare time, Natashia practices yoga and enjoys weekends in the garden and at the beach with her family.
Resident bookworm, Phoebe also enjoys traveling with her family and being part of the KLM team. Phoebe is well versed in corporate and commercial law and loves rising to the challenges each new day brings. Dedicated to bettering herself and others - she uses her legal superpowers to help and heal those who truly need it.
Olivia has worked in the legal industry for over 7 years as part of a busy criminal law practice and is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws degree. Olivia has extensive criminal law experience including domestic violence and traffic matters. Olivia thrives on a fast paced work environment and is a valued member of the KLM team. When not at work, she loves exercise, travel and spending time with family and friends.
Samuel is working in the Nundah Office assisting both our criminal and family law teams. Sam is in his last two years of a Business (Finance) & Law degree at Queensland University of Technology. Sam enjoys rugby and fitness in his spare time and is excited at the prospect of gaining experience and supporting KLM Clients.
Rebecca (Bec) is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Justice degrees. Bec joined the KLM team in late 2019 assisting in family law, domestic violence and child protection matters. Outside of work Bec enjoys true crime podcasts, 90’s sitcoms and spending time with her two kitten fur babies.
After living abroad in London and Spain, Rebecca is new to the Legal industry from a Teaching background of 6 years. She enjoys travelling, completing solo adventures through 48 countries across the world. Rebecca is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and also has an interest in pursuing a career in the criminal and family law fields. When she is not at work, Rebecca can be found binge watching crime dramas, or catching up on the latest entertainment gossip.
Val loves to travel and has a long list of destinations to tick off her bucket list. With more than 30 years experience in business and senior management roles, Val takes pride in seeing her team achieving the best outcomes for their clients - going above and beyond expectations and making KLM one of the most respected law firms on the coast.
New to the Legal industry, Tanya brings more than 20 years’ of experience in all aspects office administration to the team. On weekends she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping (well glamping) and cooking.

Emilia was born in Greece and moved to Australia at the age of 5. She has a Cert IV and diploma in Crime and Justice and is excited about using her experience and knowledge in the fast paced environment at KLM Solicitors.
Born in the UK, Ella moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2008. Ella has extensive experience in the corporate sector and has worked in the areas of insurance and telecommunications. Ella has completed courses in information technology, retail and make up. In her spare time Ella enjoys personal styling and going to the beach with her partner and their British bulldog, Winston. You will find Ella at our Maroochydore office in the role of Legal Assistant
Sam joined our team in August 2020 after spending a significant amount of time travelling abroad, which has become one of her favourite hobbies. Sam has an extensive amount of experience within the legal industry. She has completed a Diploma of Justice and is a Justice of the Peace. Sam is looking forward to getting back into the legal field to extend her knowledge and utilise her skills. In her spare time, Sam enjoys camping and spending time with her kelpie.
Tahlia has recently moved from Newcastle NSW. She has completed a Diploma of Justice Studies and is currently studying a Bachelor of Criminology. Tahlia enjoys the Queensland sunshine with her partner and their sausage dog Chavo. Her favourite place is Manhattan in New York City because of it’s hype and faced paced lifestyle.
