Kelli Martin

A passionate believer in equality and empowerment Kelli is a talented and respected solicitor with a track record of helping not only her clients but the community at large. Kelli has worked predominantly in Family and Criminal Law since 2006 and was admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in June 2008. Kelli moved to Essex, England to begin working at Plexus Law in Colchester and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2010 before returning to Brisbane in 2011. In 2015 Kelli founded KLM Solicitors where she specialises in Criminal and Family Law as well as Domestic Violence matters. She also deals with a range of Legal Aid and Private matters in both Brisbane and regional courts. With a growing business, husband and 2 small children, Kelli still takes time to enjoy her home life as she juggles an obviously busy career and family.

Shannon Bownds
A graduate of UQ, Shannon was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and first started working in family law 2 years prior to becoming a solicitor. Born on Brisbane’s Northside she loves cuddling with her husky-cross rescue dog, reading and occasionally treading the boards of amateur theatre stages in north Brisbane. "My clients place a lot of trust in me as they go through one of the most difficult times in their lives. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to support them through their unique legal challenges"
Laura Nightingale
Originally a Detective Senior Sergeant and Police Prosecutor with the NSW Police Force for over 16 years. Admitted as a lawyer in 2014, with over 12 years advocacy experience and knowledge in police procedures, investigations and methodology. Holding a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Social Science (Criminology) and numerous Diplomas in legal and policing fields. Previously Laura was the state-wide Legal Consultant for Domestic and Family Violence for the NSW Police Force.
Jane Bruxner
With a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media and Communications from QUT, Jane was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017. An accredited Children’s and Adult Duty Lawyer in the Brisbane Magistrates Court, Jane is passionate about helping those that require extra assistance due to mental health, social or economic factors and volunteers tutoring refugee families with the VoRTECS program. Jane loves the beach, mountain climbing and anything outdoors.
Rebecca Simpson
Primarily focused on Family Law Rebecca, says she finds satisfaction being able to help people when they are feeling overwhelmed by their predicaments. A big hearted softie, she does all she can for her clients during what is usually a very emotional time. Rebecca enjoys Pilates and spending time at the beach with her partner and their puppy.
Ebony Morris
A Family Law solicitor since 2017, Ebony is committed to supporting her clients through the challenges of family law and domestic violence matters. Sporty and a keen traveller, she always enjoys heading back to visit her family in her hometown of Stanthorpe
Ellen Anderson
Specialising in family law, Ellen believes one of the great advantages of working in the legal industry is the opportunity to affect societal change. She thrives on the pressure of the courtroom and the intellectual challenges it presents every day. She and her husband enjoy traveling, visiting friends and family and doing anything outdoors including camping, fishing and mountain biking.
Josh Bradbury
Josh graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and obtained his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He began working with KLM Solicitors as a law clerk in June 2015 and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in July 2018. Josh is passionate about achieving the best possible results for his clients across both of the areas of law that he practises in. Josh’s interests include rugby union, cricket and travelling.
Stephanie Tsimos
Steph thrives off the challenge of working across family, criminal and domestic violence matters. She holds a Bachelor in Business (Public Relations) and a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and has a transparent, sensitive and understanding approach to the law. With family throughout Australia and overseas, Steph has the perfect excuse to indulge in her passion for travelling.
Sam Hollis
Sam started at KLM in 2016 working in family, criminal and domestic violence matters. Sam enjoys football, cooking and adding stamps to his passport - having toured through Southeast Asia on a motorbike. Having graduated university with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychology, Sam uses his skills and experience to help clients through times of intense emotional stress and need. Sam is passionate and motivated to achieve the best results for his clients with a strong sense of empathy and rapport.
Phoebe Richards
Resident bookworm, Phoebe also enjoys traveling with her family and being part of the KLM team. Phoebe is well versed in corporate and commercial law and loves rising to the challenges each new

Olivia Ledger
Law Clerk
Olivia has worked in the legal industry for over 7 years as part of a busy criminal law practice and is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws degree. Olivia has extensive criminal law experience including domestic violence and traffic matters. Olivia thrives on a fast paced work environment and is a valued member of the KLM team. When not at work, she loves exercise, travel and spending time with family and friends.
Natashia Blank
Law Clerk
New to the legal world, proud mum Natashia has more than 10 years experience in sales and communication based roles. Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Natashia enjoys surfing, yoga and spending time with her family. She finds the fast paced atmosphere at KLM to be both challenging and motivating.
Samuel Dymock
Law Clerk
Samuel is working in the Nundah Office assisting both our criminal and family law teams. Sam is in his last two years of a Business (Finance) & Law degree at Queensland University of Technology. Sam enjoys rugby and fitness in his spare time and is excited at the prospect of gaining experience and supporting KLM Clients.

Val loves to travel and has a long list of destinations to tick off her bucket list. With more than 30 years experience in business and senior management roles, Val takes pride in seeing her team achieving the best outcomes for their clients - going above and beyond expectations and making KLM one of the most respected law firms on the coast.
Tanya Stirrup
Accounts Manager
New to the Legal industry, Tanya brings more than 20 years’ of experience in all aspects office administration to the team. On weekends she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping (well glamping) and cooking.

As a Personal Assistant, Stephanie enjoys the spontaneity and variety of challenges found working at KLM. A fun and vibrant social butterfly, Stephanie’s secret hidden talent is flower arranging.
Emilia Taylor
Senior Legal Assistant
Emilia was born in Greece and moved to Australia at the age of 5. She has a Cert IV and diploma in Crime and Justice and is excited about using her experience and knowledge in the fast paced environment at KLM Solicitors.
Lara Thomas
Legal Assistant
A talented legal and administrative assistant, Lara also enjoys photography, travel, going to the beach and assisting with fundraisers at her local RSL. As one of 6 children she’s used to chaos and well equipped for the hectic pace
at KLM. Lara will still help her mum out with her
siblings from time to
time proving she’s still
mum’s little girl.
Bianca Neve
Operational Improvements Manager
In between being a social butterfly, enjoying her regular weekend camping adventures and picking up after her two golden retrievers – Bianca is committed and working hard with the KLM team in an Operational Improvements role. Bianca has worked in a variety of roles for a number of large national law firms over the last 20 years and intimately understands the challenges our clients are faced with throughout their legal journey. She lives and shares the same social justice values our team does and is here to help make a difference.
Ella Salisbury
Legal Assistant
Born in the UK, Ella moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2008. Ella has extensive experience in the corporate sector and has worked in the areas of insurance and telecommunications. Ella has completed courses in information technology, retail and make up. In her spare time Ella enjoys personal styling and going to the beach with her partner and their British bulldog, Winston. You will find Ella at our Maroochydore office in the role of Legal Assistant
