It has been a big year for Kelli who was a Queensland State Finalist in the 2022 Telstra Best of Business Awards Accelerating Women category. She was also awarded 2022 Law Firm Leader of the Year for companies with less than 200 employees at the Australasian Law Awards.

Since starting KLM Solicitors in 2015, I have not only worked to provide a safe place for my clients, but also a place that encouraged women to take up careers in law and offered them opportunities to grow and succeed in a traditionally male-dominated field.”
For the first time last year, women outnumbered male solicitors in every state in the country, yet the number of women in senior positions is still a work in progress. This is a statistic KLM Solicitors is determined to shift.
“With two female partners out of three at our firm, we hope to send a clear message about our commitment to equity. I take great pride in my role as a mentor for all staff, but particularly the women in our team who often feel the pressure of balancing roles in life and law.
“Our team is also dedicated to supporting women in the community. We support organisations such as Red Rose Foundation, SunnyKids and Women’s Legal Service Queensland who are working to end domestic and family violence in our communities and providing much-needed services to those impacted by this unacceptable behaviour.”
